Daylight and the Moon

I actually got home from work tonight
and it was still daylight.
Feels good.

I grabbed Crockett and the camera
and we went out for a short walk.

Oh hey, there's Daddy!

The Moon bright in the sky...

...and through the trees.

Looking West, the plane vapor trail was pink!

The Moon so bright & awesome.
On my wish list; a Telescope.

Walk In The Park After Dark

Yesterday was a day of worry.
As I laid my head on my pillow, Adam and Crockett
were both beside me sleeping like babies and
I was able to go to sleep with a calm mind.

When I got home it was starting to get dark.
I grabbed Crockett for a walk in the park before it got too dark.
I took photos of plants and bushes with the flash on.
They came out well and I love the colors.

This one above is my favorite shot.

After I stopped looking through the camera, I realized it was too dark
and we needed to get out of the park!
The temperature last night was perfect!

Up With the Birds

Considering the amount of sleep I've had over the past 3 days, it
wasn't surprising to me that I was wide awake this morning at 5:30am.

That is still a bit too early to head out for a walk with Crockett
as there are still a few partiers from the night before stumbling home.

Half an hour longer and it's folks with dogs and runner/joggers.

Thank goodness there is a 24Hr store a block north that has
a single cup coffee maker.
I went & grabbed a cup of coffee then came back for Crockett
and off we went.

Another photo heavy post today.

5:58am looking East.

When I looked the other way, I noticed the Moon was still out.

My love of close up flowers continues

This little one was singing to its heart content

These remind me of Gooseberries, only smaller

Daisies

The Daisy is my favorite flower. Always has been.
Simple and beautiful.

One should always look up.
You never know what you'll see.

When we got back home, Crockett wanted nothing to do with going inside.
I let him lead me wherever he wanted to go and all he wanted to do was walk.

I'm happy Crockett took us off course. I got to see 3 small Chipmunks.
I love Chipmunks.
Had I not had Crockett I could have got closer.
This is the only one who stood still long enough to get a blurry shot of.

I sat down for a rest & got the stink eye from Crockett.
He wanted to keep walking.

By the time we were done, the moon was still clear in the sky.
This last shot was taken at 7:08am.

Monday Monday

I felt good today.
The weather was nice and I got home at a decent hour.

Adam wasn't feeling 100% when I got home.
I think he got dehydrated.
I can deal with it when I don't feel well, but I hate it
when he doesn't feel well.
Odd.

He had a bit of a lay down before dinner
so I went for a quick walk with my camera.

Ladies doing their Boot Camp in the park.
Maybe one day......

New condos planned for Yonge & Lawrence where
the car dealership was.
Honestly, I was hoping for something else to go there
for the neighbourhood.

And finally......the Moon.

SuperMoon Saturday

I love looking up at the sky.
Living in the city with all the lights, I miss seeing the stars in all their glory.
I loved when we had the blackout 7 years ago.
It was a beautiful hot clear night - perfect for seeing every star.

One day, when I have a balcony or a backyard, I will buy a telescope.

I took a bunch of photos but the majority came out blurry.

My youtube video is jerky & all over the place, for that I apologize.
If you pause at 0:36 you can see the craters.
I swear, while out there, in the middle of the park, I heard a MOOOO.
I think I just missed the cow :)

Here are a few other blurry shots :)
