Fall is Almost Here

This truly is my favorite time of the year.  I can wear a hoodie, it's sunny out, and there are nice breezes in the air. PERFECT.

It's also perfect Pug weather.  Crockett doesn't overheat when I take hm out at 11am.

We had 2 nice long walks in the park this weekend.  Now, he's sleeping like a baby by an open window.

Today would be EVEN better if I won last night's 6/49. I still haven't checked my ticket.  I have quite a few chores to do this afternoon so I'll do them before I find out if I'm a millionaire!

Another thing that I love about this season. Pumpkin!  I've had a Pumpkin Spice Latte from Starbucks & yesterday had a pumpkin spice cupcake.

Here's my favorite pumpkin this year :)

These are from our walk on Saturday.

Crockett

These almost look fake they're so perfect.

Pug nose photo bomb!

I love these. Still don't know what they're called. To me they look like furry dog ears.

I love this little dog so much.

Humid Overcast Saturday

We've had very humid weather again for the past few days. Sadly for me it is headache inducing.  I took Thursday & Friday off work for an extra-long long weekend.

I had my MRI on Thursday morning.  I only moved once but it was still scary as hell for me. I have my follow up with the Neuro-Ophthamologist next week so I hope he can figure out what happened and what is wrong with my eyes.  I no longer have double vision but they haven't gone back to normal.  It is the hardest thing to try to explain.  All I can say to anyone is, don't take your eyesight for granted.  Don't take anything for granted for that matter.

Hopefully it's going to rain this afternoon & take some of the humidity with it.  It's too hot for pugs outside today so we only had a short walk in the park. Today, I feel it in my bones, is going to be a lazy day.

Tears and Flowers

Saturday was one of those days where anything and everything made cry. Not just watery eyes crying but full on tears rolling down my cheeks to the point where you fear snot is running down your face and you look like a 2 year old after a melt down.

To escape I took my camera & Crockett to the park.  About 20 minutes in, Crockett started to freak out and go after his back right paw. He either got bit by something or stepped on something sharp.  Which of course, made me cry.

This Beetle or whatever it is just sat there not moving.
Then he pooped out what is in the photo below & flew away.
Interesting. I'm sure he felt better!

Just before the freak out.  Luckily coming home and soaking
his feet in the tub did the trick. All was well.

An Update, Some Flowers, and an Awesome Pug.

My eyes are at about 80%.  This morning before I took Crockett for our Saturday morning walk, I checked my e-mail and got very dizzy from moving my eyes back and forth too quickly while reading.

I still haven't been able to read a book and watching TV is really only comfortable for about an hour at a time.  It is frustrating but I am thankful that I got my vision back to where it is right now.

I went to the Neurological Ophthalmologist on Thursday. He thinks it might be my Sarcoidosis, but will need to do a few more tests, one being another MRI. Crap. I do have signs of Sarcoidosis on my skin. It's scary to think of it in my eyes or my brain! Time (and tests) will tell.

On my walk this morning with Crockett, with my dizziness, I wasn't feeling all that great.  Along with quite a few eye shots to see if they were wonky, I took some nice flower and Crockett shots.

 and.....we're done.

Just Some Photos

Truthfully, I love the sun but hate the hot humid weather.  My eyes are getting a bit better so I took the camera out with me on a walk with Crockett.

We got a new flag at the park.

Not a lot of color in the garden yet. A lot of green & white.  I love white flowers but the park looks more alive when it's full of color.

This flower, close up, looks like a face.

 Do you see the face?

There's an Ant on the flower.

 It's on the base/bud.

Crockett's last piddle spot before we go inside.
