Hugh Jackman

A co-worker e-mailed me this photo.
There are no words, I look at it & I hear
the music of Angels.

Californication Season IV

I got my Mr. Season IV of Californication
and we watched it today.

Showtime
I have to say that David Duchovny as Hank Moody
is one charismatic sexy sexy man.
I like the scruffy, need a shower and a shave look,
and he was like that for almost every episode.
Hank Moody is the guy you want to have a
wild weekend with, but that's it.

David Duchovny plays this character so well.
If he was my husband, I could not watch this show. Ever.
I'm looking forward to Season V.

I Love Sir Ian McKellan

I Love Sir Ian McKellan.
I would pay to listen to him read the telephone book.

I enjoy his website http://www.mckellen.com/

He is someone I'd love to sit down to dinner
with and listen to stories of his life.

This photo is great.
When he was in costume and mistaken for a homeless person.
Click on & read about it HERE.

He's so cool.
Alot of my favorite LOTR extra behind the scenes moments
are those with Sir Ian.

Allen & Ton

These 2 guys, Allen and Ton are my new addiction.
They are The Auction Hunters!

They are kind of like the guys on A&E's Storage Wars, only 100 times better.
I find Storage Wars is more about the bidders personalities and their conflicts
whereas The Auction Hunters is more about the
treasures they find and the profit they make.

Allen & Ton are knowledgeable about antiques, they take their
treasures to specific buyers and they are great at making deals.

Tonight, they traded 2 shot guns for a Grandfather Clock pendulum with
a guy in Texas that they called "W" due to his uncanny resemblance to GW Bush.

Good summer "guilty pleasure" TV.

My New Celebrity Crush

Bradley Cooper.
Oh my goodness, that man is just too yummy for words.

I am looking forward to The Hangover Part II that opens May 26'11.
For me, laughter really is the best medicine.

Last weekend Adam & I saw Bridesmaids and it was great.
I laughed so hard that I cried....more than once.

This summer looks to be filled with many Movie Dates.

But seriously, how difficult will it be to watch this guy for 120 minutes?

He is sooooo good lookin'
I actually prefer him with long hair, unshaven
and a bit dirty.  Odd.

Prince of Persia - The Sands of Time

 Adam rented me this film;

I really enjoyed it.
I had no preconceptions or expectations.
It is based on a video game that I've not played.

It's a Disney Film but with a Jerry Bruckheimer
lets make another franchise feel to it.

It was a what it should be; 2 hours of fun, fantasy,
entertainment with good looking people, some great sword fights,
a Villain, a Jester, a King, Princes and a Princess.
Of course, the Disney Happily Ever After.

I actually like Jake Gyllenhaal in the lead role of Prince Dastan.
As it was a cast filled with Brits, he had a dialect coach
to master the British accent.
He had the same coach as Renee for Bridget Jones
and Gwyneth for Sliding Doors.
I think he aced it. Well done.

Throw in the great Ben Kingsley
and Alfred Molina for some star power.
Characters that added spice were the Hassansins.
Once the King's personal Assassins, now a secret tool for the bad guy.
I also like how they worked in Twirling Dervishes/Sand Dervishes.

Plus, to tell the truth, if I was 14 years old, I'm quite sure I'd have
a picture of Jake hanging in my locker ;)

TV

I like to watch TV as much as I like movies.
Adam is more of a movie guy. He tolerates tv.

I didn't watch Lost or Heroes.

I've never seen an episode of Desperate Wives or Grey's Anatomy.

I loved the first few seasons of Survivor.
Jeff Probst, Colby, Ethan, Boston Rob.

I do like The Biggest Loser.
Not for all the game play and challenges, but to see people transform their bodies & lives.

I like So You Think You Can Dance, but only the US production with Simon, Mia & Adam.

I will watch a documentary about anything - except cruelty to animals.
Can't even THINK about watching The Cove.

Love The National Geographic Channel.
Cesar Milan is fantastic & Dog Town makes me want to pack up and move to Utah.

My new favorite sitcom is Big Bang Theory. I love Sheldon
and Howard's belt buckles.

The best series I've enjoyed have been on Showcase & HBO.
The show I wish was still on - Queer As Folk. Gale Harold - 'nuff said.
Curb Your Enthusiasm - classic, neurosis at its best.
Entourage - love Lloyd
Califonication - David Duchovny - 'nuff said

The one thing I have not watched lately that I told Adam I'm going to start watching again this season is Hockey Night in Canada.
Believe it or not, I miss watching Hockey.
